Source code management

Date: Wednesday, October 31, 2018 | From: 14:00:00 to 15:00:00 | Room: ARIANE

In the Dynamics NAV world, Source Control Management is a relatively unknown subject, and it can be quite overwhelming to get started with this technology. In this breakout session, you will get an introduction to the concept of SCM and how this is done using Visual Studio Code, the development environment for Dynamics 365 Business Central. You will learn how SCM is integrated into the environment, how to set it up, and how to use it in your every day development tasks. You will also see how you can utilize a work item management tool (Azure DevOps, formerly known as Visual Studio Team Services) in combination with SCM to help manage the development work.
