Bio: Alexandre Pombo is the Sales Strategy Lead SMB with Microsoft. His responsibility is to set the sales strategy to across all Solution Areas to the Small and Medium Business Segment Worldwide, determining sales plays, programs, resources to be executed by direct and indirect channels. With more than 20 years of experience working with Customers and Partners, Alexandre brings a combination of Sales and Marketing experience to drive growth, particularly to Digital Transformation and Cloud sales. Alex started his trajectory at Microsoft working with partners as OEM Sales Manager to distributor and system integrators in Brazil. His career at Microsoft has includes several positions in sales and marketing. Before this position he has worked as Worldwide Sales Lead for Cloud Infrastructure leading sales execution to over 700 sellers Worldwide. Before that he held a Sales Lead role for High Performance Computing and Senior Director for Global ISVs, managing a portfolio of Partners over US$ 30B. He has renowned experience in the International Markets having worked Latin America Region and the Brazil subsidiary. Previously to working at Microsoft, Alexandre was at IBM Brasil, in the PC Company Division working in several sales and product marketing positions. Alexandre holds bachelor degree in Computer Engineering with Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and then Master Business Administration with Universidade de São Paulo, Brazil
